What are you looking forward to in your first year of design school?

I've never taken any architecture classes, so I am looking forward to know evrything about architecture. Also, I am excited to know the difference between Japanese and American buildings.

In what way will you commit to diversity, equity, and inclusion while at the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design?

I am the only Japanese in Fay Jones 2026 students, so I can learn architecture as a minority student.  I want to memorize my experience and use my feeling as a minority student to design space that people spend time in. Also, I must not forget to think of diversity, equality, and inclusion. I need to consider about it because I might have stereotypes and the stereotypes make someone hurt.
